SCULPTRA
-
Sculptra Aesthetic injections can improve skin smoothness and elasticity in various areas of the face and body.
-
The most common treated areas include marionette lines, cheeks, temples, jaw, chin, and other facial creases.
This treatment is also effective for the chest, buttocks, hips, and upper arms.
-
Depending on the area(s) being treated, the appointment time may vary from 30 minutes up to 1 hour. A consultation must be planned prior to the first treatment.
-
Yes, Sculptra is safe as it’s basically a stimulant for collagen production. It was approved by the FDA in 2004. It’s also been proven to not contain any kind of animal products or human DNA. However, Sculptra is not recommended for people who have allergies to the ingredients. Be sure to check with your doctor first before thinking about getting Sculptra.

We take patient comfort seriously. While pain is typically minimal, we recognize everyone has a unique tolerance, especially in sensitive areas. We can numb the area with topical anesthetic and we have a variety of ‘distraction devices’ available to you. You may experience sensitivity, light swelling or small bruises following the treatment.
-
Although results with Sculptra are gradual, these subtle changes continue to improve over time with repeat injections. Most patients will require a series of two to three treatments, equally spaced apart over a four- to six-week time span.
The gradual effects then build up over time, giving you a natural appearance.
-
Multiple factors can impact the results including age, facial symmetry, history of previous treatment(s), lifestyle, sun exposure and diet.
-
The cost per treatment varies by product, location and desired results. Our experts will recommend a product that is suitable for your needs in order to provide safe, natural and long-lasting results that meet your highest expectations.
-
Massage the treated areas five times a day for about 5 minutes for five days after treatment, then twice daily for two weeks.
Hold ice packs on the treated areas gently for about 10 minutes on, then 10 minutes off a few times on the same day of treatment to help reduce swelling.
Expect swelling and tenderness for 48-72 hours.
Possible bruising may last about 7 days.
Avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, and alcohol for the first few days after treatment.
